Our Services

OutSource Medical Data Services does not act as a separate entity from the provider. We serve
as your extended business office.

Since each provider and/or practice is unique, we customize our Medical Billing Services to meet your
individual needs. We have the ability to remotely access your current database, networking our software
with your office (depending on your software), or having your information emailed, faxed, or picked-up by
carrier service. We have state of the art equipment to file any claims.

These are the services we offer depending on your individual needs:

Data entry - we obtain information from the provider and/or practice and enter this information into
our database.

File claims - claims are filed electronically. This depends upon the insurance carrier. (A few carriers are
not set up electronically; therefore claims are sent by mail or faxed).

Claim submission – Medicare/Medicaid/Iffy /All commercial carriers
Claims filed within 24-48 hours within receipt of information
Immediate follow up on rejected claims
Generate secondary claims

Statements - are mailed out from our office on behalf of your practice or facility. The protocols of statements
and collections are done specifically to your specifications.

Payments - payments come directly to your office. As we receive payments and explanations of benefits
(EOB) from you, we post these into the database.

Appeals - if a payment has been denied, we will appeal to the insurance companies until the claim is satisfied.

Follow up on any claims over 30 days
Immediate follow up on rejected claims

Patient Registrations – for the smaller practice, we will obtain patient demographics, benefit/eligibility and
authorization prior to office visit.

Your patient may call our office or go directly to our web site to enter his/her insurance information and our
office will obtain the necessary authorization within 24-48 hours. This information is then faxed to the provider’s office. (Form information is secure and encrypted)

Reports - are done on a monthly basis. Because each provider and/or practice is different, we customize our
reports specifically for you.

We’ll discuss and create the necessary forms that will help you keep your practice organized and running
smoothly.
